TAN SRI MOKHZANI

Tan Sri Mokhzani is a figure that has characteristics of its own. He is the son of former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad fourth. He was born in January 1961 and is currently 54 years old who have gas and oil business. The wealth he owns now has reached US $ 1.2 billion in 2014 and in 2015 it exceeded the total value of such property earlier. He is married with five children. As an entrepreneur who wants to be successful in anything, he has several features that help in achieving his goal. Every entrepreneur dreams of success while gaining profit from the business itself. There are a variety of features and positive traits that can help entrepreneurs throughout the business. For an individual who has the desire to be called as a successful entrepreneur but still not ready or do not possess any positive traits of an entrepreneur, then the individual will have the possibility to fail in the business. An individual must be disciplined and not taking anything for granted in order to become a successful entrepreneur.

Apart from that, a great entrepreneur also the one who is not afraid of taking risks that have been counted to achieve success. We can take Tan Sri Mokhzani Bin Tun Mahathir as an example of a businessman whom we know as someone good in finding ways to face the possibility of failure. He made the failure encountered by his business as a challenge and motivation for him to become a successful entrepreneur. Tan Sri Mokhzani once facing difficult times and vicissitudes while running the business

Tan Sri Mokhzani is the CEO of Kencana Petroleum Berhad, had experienced a situation that requires him to act wisely in it. He has experienced ups and downs in the corporate world before joining Kencana Petroleum in 2001. He failed to regain control of 12.6 percent of shares in Tongkah Holdings and 32.9 percent in Pantai Holdings during the financial crisis in 1997. However it never takes away his will to keep involving himself in local corporate world. He decided to resign his position as assistant treasurer of UMNO Youth Malaysia as he wanted to concentrate on his business that had been affected by the financial crisis.

Fortunately, he met Chong Hin Loon, the founder of Kencana Petroleum after the financial crisis.  Chong Hin Loon was trying to find partners among the indigenous during that moment. He then met Tan Sri Mokhzani who already versed in the affairs of petroleum engineering. Kenchana Petroleum is growing and met the aspiration of its founding after Tan Sri Mokhzani joined the company. Thus, it is indirectly proves Tan Sri Mokhzani is one of the successful entrepreneurs and leaders who excel in solving problems and not afraid of taking risk in order to improve himself in the corporate world.
